A few poker techniques will astonish you with their simplicity. This is 1 of them. Write down your results, each and every time you bet.

Church of hold’em Psalm #three:

Thou have to record thy successes and your loses; for it is the sum of all a persons achievements which develop their bottom line.

How detailed is up to you. I usually believe that hourly details and that kind of personal detail is wasted. Simply work out how much up you are and how much (if any) you have taken out. Of course, if you are beaten, record that too, despite how much it hurts.

Don’t neglect to record what style of poker you are betting on, if that’s significant to you. (In my experience, most players keep to what they understand and do not experiment. If all you note is up, down and what you’ve taken out, you are way in front of a majority of players around!)

Bestow on yourself achievable goals, like a ‘dream’ target (new vehicle, holiday or whatever). When you take out, mark the dollars withdrawn to your dream tally. The greater the success you have, the closer that dream will be!
