Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the western in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the croupier, not like most other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players don’t have to fret about any other, more advanced individuals winning their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, novices are able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied selections.

It is also much simpler to participate in for a very long time with basically a little amount of money since, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the house gets 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
