Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By playing against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about any other, more skillful people taking their cash.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners can take their time and plan while not needing to make hasty decisions.

It is also easier to gamble on for a very long time with only a little bit of money after all, to lose, each of your hands has to be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards face down.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
