Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers bet against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not have to fret about any other, more knowledgeable people winning their cash.

Another Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game play, beginners will be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick choices.

It is also much simpler to bet on for a long time with basically a small amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
