Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in an excellent game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more skillful individuals winning their money.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, novices will be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty choices.

It is also simpler to wager on for an extended time with basically a tiny amount of cash since, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the dealer gets seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
