Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in a great game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about other, more knowledgeable players taking their mulla.

One more Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also much simpler to participate in for a very long time with only a little bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
