Let’s learn a various type of poker other than hold’em, seven card stud, five card draw and Omaha Holdem. Yes, double-hand poker. Now you need to be wondering that pai gow sounds a bit Chinese; yes you are appropriate this game is really a blend of the Chinese game double-hand and our very own US poker. Certainly this isn’t 1 of the most well-known styles of poker but still it is widely bet. It could be bet by up to seven players.

It is wagered with 1 deck of fifty-two cards, including a joker. Strangely enough, the joker can be employed only as an ace, to complete a straight, a flush, a straight flush, or a royal flush. The essential element here to remember is other than the usual rating of hands we have one more succeeding hand that’s "5 Aces" (five aces which includes the joker). Remarkably, five aces beat all other hands which includes royal flush.

Every player is dealt 7 cards. The cards are organized to make 2 hands; a 2 card hand and a five card hand. The five card hand has to rank higher or be equal to the 2 card hand. Finally each of your hands have to rank greater than both of your oppositions hands (both five and 2 card hands). Additionally the 2 card hand can only have 2 permutations; one pair and high card.

Immediately after the cards are organized in to two hands, they are placed on the table face down. Once you put them down, you can not touch them. The dealer will turn over their cards and make his hands. Each and every gamblers hand is compared to the croupier’s hands. If the gambler is victorious on 1 hand and loses the other, this is identified as "push" and no money is won or lost. If croupier wins both hands then they captures the players stake and vice versa. Now what if there’s a tie, the only advantage with the croupier here is they wins all ties.

Following the hand is played, the following person clock-wise becomes the croupier and the subsequent hand is played. The big drawback to this game is that there is no skill required and you depend too much on luck. Also the odds are negative compared to wagering with a pot.
